The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn signed and passed the Law of Ukraine “To amend several legislative acts of Ukraine regarding legacy registration” to the President of Ukraine for signature
The Law (Reg. No. 11047), that was adopted by the Parliament on October 16, entitles officials of village and township councils, as well as other bodies of local self-government execute notarial actions regarding legacy in places where there are no notaries.
The Civil Code of Ukraine and the Law of Ukraine “On Notary” are to be amended.
